Meet Penguin Productions Cast and Crew!

DJ Matt

Matt Briere-Saltis - has been DJing for over 8 years and is co-owner of Penguin Productions. Matt graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in English and Psychology. Relocating his share of the business to St. Augustine, Florida shortly after graduation, Matt has livened up the DJ scene in the area. Introducing a whole new audience to the friendly, professional quality of Penguin Productions DJs is Matt's top priority. During his free time Matt enjoys playing hockey, reading and writing, staying active and making new friends. Matt has helped Penguin Productions take the technological plunge by adding laptops and helping get the website operational.

Location - St. Augustine, FL / New England, Matt is the most traveled of Penguin Productions' DJs, having done gigs in 7 different states. Matt has flown back to Vermont numerous times to work gigs in the New England area and has begun expanding his reach in Florida from Jacksonville to New Smyrna Beach.

- Matt plays a variety of gigs and enjoys all kinds of Weddings a great deal, House parties, Bar/Club events, Non-Profit and Fundraising events, Corporate events, and myriad other events and crowds.

DJ Tiffany

Tiffany Saltis -a co-owner of Penguin Productions, has been DJing for 4 years. She is a full-time student at Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire. Tiffany has received modeling offers in Boston and Chicago and recently passed the initial round of auditions for the hit reality show Survivor. Tiffany enjoys all aspects of music, and is considering a career in music journalism. She spends her free time immersing herself in music and music history. Tiffany aspires to travel the world, in particular Australia, Italy, and Costa Rica.

Location - Keene, NH / Castleton, VT operates everywhere from New Hampshire throughout Vermont, Burlington area included.

- a few gigs Tiffany has gained a great deal of experience in are School Proms and Dances, Birthday and Graduation Parties, Bar/Club weekend gigs, and all kinds of venues with a younger crowd.

DJ John

John Saltis -The founder of the Penguin Productions DJ company, has over 20 years experience DJing. John is also a part of the GE Infrastructure family (located in Rutland, VT). John has personally purchased and archived over 10,000 songs in his career and has a wealth of music knowledge.

During his free time John enjoys remodeling projects at home, spending time with his grandkids, hunting, fishing and being in the great outdoors.

Location - Hampton, NY operates primarily in the Rutland, VT area, but has traveled as far as Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Burlington and all of Southern Vermont.

- a few gigs John has annually enjoyed are: The Poultney Chili Cookoff, 4th of July Festivities, weddings in Killington and Rutland County, March of Dimes, Car Shows, Banquets, and much more!

DJ Heavy D

Paul Dunchess (Heavy D)- Paul is the newest member to Penguin Productions team. Paul has been working with us for just over 2 years and has already made a very lasting impression. Paul works at the North Star Lodge in Killington,VT and also at Chaser's Bar & Grill in Rutland, VT.

Paul, like all of our DJs, is an avid sports fan and loves to help coach multiple youth basketball teams in West Rutland, VT

Location - Heavy D lives in West Rutland and regularly handles gigs all over Rutland County and at Killington. Paul has been a wonderful addition to Penguin Productions and continues to garner excellent reviews from clients.

Cheri

Cheri (Saltis) McDermott - Officer McDermott handles the photography component of Penguin Productions. Cheri also works full time for the Castleton Police Department, after previously working with the Norwich Police Department and the Rutland Sheriff's Office. Cheri shares her co-workers' zeal for the outdoors and is an avid hiker. She enjoys spending her free time with her daughter, Sierra and son, Hagen who prove to be quite a handful sometimes.
