DJ Event Packages
At Penguin Productions we pride ourselves on our flexible pricing packages. We guarantee that no matter the occasion we can work with you to find a reasonable pricing solution that we're both happy with. Some examples of reasons we may offer a reduced price include: non-profit organizations, economic struggles, friends & family, opportunities for further business, alternate forms of payment.
Casual Events
These events may require less prep time, but can go longer than some formal events. For this reasons the base rate is a little lower. Our DJ's still strive to make appropriate and fun selections to keep the mood light and festive. Games and give-aways can be an integral part of these gigs!
$200-$250 for the first four hours - any overtime will be negotiated by the DJ and client (avg hourly overtime rate is $50-$75.
Formal Events
These events generally call for a bit more preparation and commitment. Our DJs value the client's experience above everything else and strive to create the perfect atmosphere and playlist.

Weddings
Our DJs take a great deal of time to prepare for the perfect wedding. We believe that execution should be flawless and music choice impeccable. Our DJs want you to feel confident and comfortable that we will worry about all the little details so you won't have to. Included in both pricing packages is our one of a kind Wedding Reception Planning Guide. This packet will help you organize an agenda for your wedding and will organize all your options in a neat and easy to read way. Our Wedding Packet also has useful hints and suggestions in case you're not sure about something. As always, we offer our advice and expertise free of charge regardless of whether or not you end up choosing Penguin Productions.
*NEW* Basic Essential Wedding
$300-$500 for the first four hours depending on location, DJ's responsibilities, and other aspects of the wedding that we would be glad to discuss with you. Don't underestimate this package because the price seems more affordable. We are a family business here at Penguin Productions and understand better than most how the economy can make certain dreams seem unattainable. We believe that everyone should be given a chance to have the wedding they want without breaking the bank. For a limited time we are offering this discounted rate which cuts cost without cutting any quality. Any overtime will be negotiated by the DJ and client (avg hourly overtime rate is $50-$75).
Premium Wedding Package
$500-$800 for the first four hours, also the DJ will be on hand at least an hour before the ceremony to meet with both the wedding participants and hosting venue's management team. The premium package will guarantee you get a DJ with literally over 100 previous weddings worth of experience and expertise. These DJs will put more time and effort into helping you plan the perfect wedding than many competitors combined. Most DJ's become complacent after doing as many as a dozen weddings, we pride ourselves on treating each and every event like it's our first. You will get a genuine level of passion and respect that you simply will not find among other DJs, and that's our guarantee
Travel and Add-Ons
We ask that any gigs requiring travel of over 50 miles reimburse the DJ half of their gas expense.
Add-Ons that we proudly offer include lighting and give-away packages. Penguin Productions can provide stage lighting for dramatic effect, as well as a number of "party lights" that will keep you movin' and groovin' all night. Lights generally run around $15-$25, but are often included in packages, so remember to ask about lights when you book your event.
For give-aways, if you ask the DJ to provide we simply ask that you provide compensation for whatever the give-aways cost. Basically we will pick them up at the store and you can pay us back the day of the event. Some give-aways can be included in the package so if you're looking for some added fun feel free to ask away!
